This weeks album track of the week is from Ne-Yo, off of his successful 2007 album Because Of You. No doubt the album’s title track Because Of You will be the best known song from Ne-Yo’s second studio album, but by far my favourite track on it is Sex With My Ex:

Ne-Yo’s song Sex With My Ex is a tip of the hat to Prince, which features many of the legendary performer’s traits from the guitar solo right through to the vocals, and even aside from that it’s a class track that stands up well on its own.
