Beyonce Beyoncé to reunite with Destinys Child at Super Bowl?

America, get ready to shake your booty, as Beyoncé is set to headline Super Bowl’s halftime show next year!

NFL confirmed the news last night (October 16), after Bey posted a picture of herself on her website, with the words “Feb 3” and “2013” on her face.

Rumours are circulating that Beyoncé will reunite with her Destiny’s Child band mates, Kelly Rowland and (the one that everyone forgets) Michelle Williams, at the event, which is already being billed as “The Greatest Show On Earth.”

The blogosphere is also betting on husband, Jay-Z, putting in an appearance during the halftime show, which will take place on February 3, 2013.

But this won’t be the first time Beyoncé has appeared at the Super Bowl. In 2004, the “Single Ladies” star sang the national anthem at the sporting event, when it was held at her home town of Houston, Texas.

The Super Bowl halftime show is the most-watched musical event in the US, with over 112 million viewers tuning into Madonna’s (half assed) performance earlier this year.

Other artists to have headlined the event include The Rolling Stones, Sir Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and Janet Jackson, whose performance sparked serious controversy in 2004, after she infamously flashed her booby!
