
Cheryl Cole has gone back to the early 60s for the video to her new single, ‘Under The Sun,’ which premiered in full earlier today.
The second release from her UK No.2 album, ‘A Million Lights,’ sees the artist also known as The Nation’s Sweetheart take a few style tips from Amy Winehouse in a promo which looks a bit like a nostalgic take on Rachel Stevens’ ‘Some Girls.’
Dressed in a coral pencil skirt, bright yellow bra and thin white cardigan, the Girls Aloud star can also be seen sporting an Amy-esque beehive as she struts down a busy town street whilst miming along to the similarly retro soul-pop track.
Of course, being a Cheryl Cole video, there’s got to be a dance routine in there somewhere and she doesn’t disappoint.
Draped across the bonnet of a classic Citroen, she’s then joined by an array of suited-and-booted dancers before she busts some moves of her own, both inside and outside a classic American-style diner.
