We all love a cheeky little Glee cover, right?
The hit US musical series is in its third season and one of its latest covers is Gotye’s international viral hit ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’. Watch the full performance of the Glee cast’s cover above.
However, it would seem Gotye was less than impressed with the TV stars’ efforts, and slammed it in an interview with The Sunday Mail, stating:
“They did such a faithful arrangement of the instruments but the vocals were that pop Glee style, ultra dry, sounded pretty tuned and the rock has no real sense, like it’s playing to you from a cardboard box. It made it sound dinky and wrong.”
