Well, since Same Difference have come and gone I guess someone had to fill the brother-sister duo void: and here we have SD-JEM, a record label’s dream (potentially).
Denis Jamal and Shanel Jamal are siblings from North London. They write their own songs and have been building up their own fanbase, gigging at places such as Camden Rock, Whisky Mist and The Bowery. Both come from a performing arts background, having both studied Dance and Musical Theatre, and now they’re dropping their own commercial debut single ‘Roll With Me’ – check the video out above.

Their new single was co-produced by Denis alongside Shift Key, and they’re clearly aiming for the UK urban market, albeit with a tinge of pop. The pair are also currently supporting Cher Lloyd on her theatre tour right now.
