LyricStatus is the UK’s biggest song lyrics website. We are actively looking to put together a small but talented team of bloggers to cover the latest music news as well as features, editorials and interviews.
With 70,000 unique visitors every month (and growing) your words will be reaching a huge global audience of music enthusiasts.

Here’s what we’re looking for in a blogger:
- Passionate about music
- Excellent written English
- Great sense of humour
That’s it! Previous experience in blogging is preferable but not essential. No technical expertise required.
Whether or not you’re serious about kickstarting a career in music/online journalism, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in the growing blogging market, beef up your CV (we’re happy to provide references) and have fun at the same time. Bloggers are voluntary but as LyricStatus continues to grow we’ll be offering paid work starting this summer (2012) for daily contributors.
For those with an interest in broadcast there’s also opportunities for filmed interviews with musicians on location. Previous broadcast and on-camera experience desirable. Expenses paid.
