Not content with being the biggest teen idol on the planet, Justin Bieber now seems to be making a bid to be the next Jeremy Beadle.
After guest hosting MTV’s Punk’d earlier this year, the 18-year-old fooled some of his more gullible Beliebers this week after claiming that his laptop had been stolen, going on to exchange tweets with the alleged thief after links to two private videos were uploaded online.
However, the Biebs has now admitted that the whole thing was in fact an elaborate stunt to tie-in with his new video for his Nicki Minaj collaboration ‘Beauty And A Beat.’
The promo, filmed using a hand-held camera at a waterpark, sees the prankster letting loose at the kind of party that he still looks about four years too young for before he rather awkwardly gyrates up against Mariah Carey’s arch-nemesis.
Bieber revealed how proud he was to have come up with the found-footage concept on Twitter following the video’s debut yesterday.
since i was 14 i have had a lot of things said about me, from dying, to taking hormones, to dying again, to stuff about my family…

Reports that his next video will see him shouting hello into an oversized mobile phone remain unconfirmed.
