Lady Gaga has hit back at Calvin Harris, after he told BBC Breakfast that he turned down the chance to work with her.
Harris said he snubbed Mother Monster in 2008 in favour of, uh, Dizzee Rascal, whose album he was working on at the time:
“You’ve got to pick people whose songs or voice you like. I didn’t like the songs. They didn’t send me any of the big songs.”
But it seems Gaga did not take to Harris’ dig too kindly, with the “Born This Way” broad taking to Twitter yesterday (October 29) to target the rather self-satisfied Scottish producer:
never even emailed you @calvinharris I guess it’s hard to believe I write + produce my music.cuz I’m a woman I don’t know about EDM right?

Harris was quick to say sorry to Mother Monster (assumably scared she would slice him up and turn him into a skirt) in a tweet that has since been deleted:
“@ladygaga no your label emailed me. I always make sure I say Im a fan when asked about it, I apologise if I offended u, wasn’t the intention”
The pair then kissed and made up after Gaga thanked Harris for his apology in another one of those mysteriously erased tweets:
“@CalvinHarris thanks for the apology &explaining. My apologies too. Congratulations on your album. Wish you well. Cheers.”
Still, Harris is now suffering the after-effects which come with dissing Gaga in public!
The “We Found Love” writer said he was being inundated with angry messages from Little Monsters, who he cheekily labelled “the illuminati”:
The illuminati’s after me lol. Never mind I’ll just keep making tracks.
