With 25 million Twitter followers, 50 million Facebook likes, a billion views on YouTube, it’s fair to say the current queen of pop also reigns as the queen of social media.
Lady Gaga has now cemented her status as a social media magnate by launching her very own social network for her fans, over at LittleMonsters.com
The name “LittleMonsters” comes from the name she calls her fans as a term of endearment, being “Little monsters” after her ‘Fame Monster’ album in 2009.
The new social networking site is in closed beta, meaning you’ll need to register and apply for access, but once you do gain entry you’re treated to a very Pinterest-like website with all sorts of Lady Gaga paraphernalia.
The website was built by technology start-up Backplane, which consists of four co-founders including Lady Gaga’s manager, Troy Carter, and an ex-Google designer.
