Upon return to the country of Prague after an ill-fated 2010 concert, lead Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe was arrested by authorities for the alleged manslaughter of a 19 year old man that occurred during their May 2010 show. While details still remain sketchy, the band has released a statement, saying:
“Lamb of God management will be issuing an official statement on Monday regarding the charges made against singer Randy Blythe. As no formal charges have yet been made and the case is only in the investigation stages, it would be premature to make an official statement filled with false truths or innuendos.”
A premature time to make an official statement filled with innuendos? Is it ever the right time to fill an official statement with innuendos? Unless you’re Bill Clinton, probably not. While reports of the exact incident remain sketchy, it appears that Blythe may have defended himself from an overeager fan that jumped that barrier and rushed him while on stage.
