Little Mix debut video for ‘DNA’

Whilst many thought it was rather brave of Little Mix to debut their brand new video on the same day Girls Aloud officially announced their comeback, ‘DNA’ proves the X-Factor winners didn’t need to worry.

Whilst Cheryl Cole and co’s promo for ‘Something New’ is a rather cheap affair with each member’s parts blatantly recorded separately and stitched together, the newest girlband on the block’s video is a much more imaginative and interesting watch.

Inspired by the noirish comic book feel of Sin City, the dubstep-lite follow-up to ‘Wings‘ sees girls let their obsessiveness get the better of them as they stalk and then capture the object of their affections.

But while scenes include Perrie driving along with a man bound and gagged in the passenger seat and Jade waiting for her prey outside a window ledge, the mastermind behind the whole operation is later revealed to be Leigh-Anne. It’s always the quiet ones you have to look out for!

Their third single is set for release on November 11 with the album of the same name out the week later. And so far it looks as though Little Mix’s career is definitely heading for the Leona Lewis route rather than the Leon Jackson’s.
