Adam Levine leaves the rest of his band at home for this action-packed wanna-movie music video for ‘Payphone’.
Taken from Maroon 5′s forthcoming album ‘Overexposed’, ‘Payphone’ features Wiz Khalifa who also makes a guest appearance on set to deliver his rap. The video sees Levine playing the role of a bank employee that makes a break for it when his bank is the target of an armed robbery, and subsequently sees him getting chased by the police in a case of mistaken identity. Add in a couple of explosions and you’ve got yourself a little mini-movie – I’m sure this will rank as one of this year’s bigger budget music videos for sure.
