Radio DJ Lucy Horobin is the latest lady to come under fire from One Direction fans after her reported fling with Harry Styles was exposed in The Mirror over the weekend.
According to the newspaper, Harry dated the 32 year old for three months after meeting her in Manchester back in August 2011.
Lucy, who presents the breakfast show on Heart South Coast FM, has since received messages of abuse from hundreds of One Direction fans on Twitter. She failed to turn up to work yesterday but took to the micro blogging site to share a quick message with fans, before deleting her account.
“To clarify, I haven’t said ANYTHING to the press, nor do I wish to. Thank you to those of you who have said kind words today. Xxx”
18 year old Harry is no stranger to romancing the more mature woman. He famously dated 32 year old Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack last year. The Gotta Be You singer is yet to comment on the matter. Will her ever find a love interest who his fans approve of? And are there any more cougars set to come out of the woodwork?
